In this lesson, I created exploding text. I used the name 'Elessar' from Lord of the Rings.

Learning Comment: In this project, the hardest part for me was that I thought I had done something wrong, and I had to redo the project. When I finished, the text was slightly warped, but it turned out to be how it was supposed to be. I found it interesting that I had to first rotate and set polar to rectangular, and then fully reverse the process to reveal the finished product.

For this lesson, I had to add colour to a period photograph of two guys who look vaguely familiar who are most likely in a comedy show.

Learning Comment: Before I say anything else, I just want to mention that this isn't quite as polished as it should have been because I was away on the day they we did the tutorial. Anyways, I found this part pretty difficult until I discovered that using the quick selection tool works a whole lot better than the magnetic lasso to select...

This is the third photoshop artwork lesson, and our job was to edit out the guy in the photo. I've included both the before and after pics.

Learning Comment: In this lesson, I used the clone tool, patch tool, and retouch tool to edit out the unpleasant fellow blocking my gorgeous willow tree picture. Now, one of the interesting things I noticed is that the best way to make this look real is to edit in some ducks where the man used to be. The ducks sort of trick...

Here is my photoshop collage for lesson 1! It's designed to look sort of like a postcard for Vancouver.

Learning Comments: While making this, I learned some cool tricks such as using the magnetic lasso, (aka my favourite tool on photoshop), that tool kind of hat to be explained to me several times before I could make any sense of it, but now, it's the one I use the most!! As you can most likely tell, that's the tool I used on the maple leaf in the middle. I'm...

For this project, I was instructed to create a timeline depicting the creation of the social media site Facebook. I have included the link below.

1. To complete this project, the main strategy I used was exploration. In that way, I merely explored the website (Tiki-Toki) and all its features before attempting to create my timeline. I created one...

So... I was told that I was supposed to create a Fakebook page for a leader in the field of technology. So I chose Robert Cailliau, who collaberated with Tim Berners-Lee to create the World Wide Web. I have included a link below. Please bear with me, though. I tried to make it relatively realistic to what Facebook pages usually look like, but still include the important the important events in Robert Cailliau's life. I really tried.
